HAybrook College Trust - Eco Garden
Haybrook College Trust is an Alternative Provision Academy that includes a small special school called Millside School and a Post-16 provision called The Gateway. They offer four unique programmes at KS4, as well as a range of ‘revolving door’ provisions at KS3 that have proven to be highly successful in supporting young people to maintain their mainstream school place or return to another mainstream school.
The most important aim for the College is to equip all our young people with the qualifications and skills needed to progress in their education and/or gain employment upon leaving
When the college recently contacted us regarding an Eco Garden project they wanted to embark upon, we were delighted to be able to support them. Our local community and investment in the next generation is important to us, and we can't wait to see the positive impact this project will have. We look forward to seeing photos of the finished result!

The knife angel - SLOUGH
The ‘Knife Angel’ arrived in Slough on the 9th Jan 2023, marking the beginning of Thames Valley Police’s month of action against knife crime and violence in the area.
Knife crime has become a serious concern in the community following a year which saw three young men’s lives claimed by knives.
Standing 27ft tall and made up of 100,000 knives which have been handed in at amnesty bins around the country, the moment took 90 minutes to erect in its home for the month of Januay – Arbour Park.
Verus Group was thrilled to be asked to sponsor the Slough Knife Crime Matters 2023 publication, a free resource for all 11-18yr olds and vulnerable adults, so that they can get the help and support they need to identify and avoid the increasing threat of knife crime.

Sponsors of the Jamaican bobsleigh team
Verus Group was proud to sponsor Jamaica's number one bobsleigh driver, Shanwayne Stephens, along his road to the Beijing Winter Olympics in 2022.
Shanwayne, who is also a serving member of the Royal Air Force Regiment, is currently taking a break from the ice to focus on his RAF career, but we look forward to supporting him again on his return.
