Company Accreditations and Memberships
BMTRADA
Being accredited with BM TRADA means our installation and maintenance of fire doors and fire stopping equipment has been independently verified by this UKAS accredited certification body. We hold BM TRADA Q-Mark certification.
CONSTRUCTIONLINE GOLD
Originally created as a Government department, Constructionline have been working with construction buyers and suppliers for 20 years, priding themselves on working to enhanced PAS 91 criteria.
SAFECONTRACTOR
SafeContractor promotes itself as the UK's leading health and safety accreditation. Verus Group™ is both SafeContractor Approved and SafePQQ verified. This means we operate in a way which is safe, ethical and sustainable.
Training and Development
iHASCO
As part of their Continuous Professional Development, and to ensure our company's health and safety compliance, members of the team enrol with iHASCO's online training, which both reinforces and adds to their existing safety knowledge. Recent training includes Manual Handling, Working at Height, Asbestos Awareness, and a general H&S refresher.
NEBOSH
The NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety is widely seen as the ‘gold standard’ in health and safety qualifications.
Our Health and Safety advisor holds both the NGC, and the National Certificate in Fire Safety and Risk Management.
SMAS TRAINING
In addition to their WorkSafe accreditation, SMAS offer online classroom CITB training courses for Health and Safety matters.
Verus Group's Team Leaders have all attended SSSTS to ensure that they are suitably trained to manage the site safety of their teams effectively.
INDEPENDENT FIRE INSPECTIONS
Independent Fire Inspections provide training for the passive fire protection industry. As part of their CPD, we encourage members of the team to undertake e-learning courses in the differing areas available, such as fire stopping installation or inspection, to improve, reinforce, and give a different angle to their existing training.
CSCS
All of our site operatives hold current CSCS certification, ensuring they have had appropriate Health and Safety training for the tasks they carry out.
CSCS cards, and the training towards them, play a large part in improving standards and safety on UK construction sites.
PASMA
PASMA is the international association for the Mobile Access Tower Industry, representing the interests of manufacturers, suppliers, specifiers and users. It provides and oversees the industry standard training scheme and is a major publisher of safety-related knowledge, information and guidance.
We ensure compliance with safety, operating, and product standards within the industry where operatives work at elevated height.
